Cyrille Bertelle is full Professor in Computer Science at Université Le Havre Normandie. He is a member of the research laboratory LITIS, FR-CNRS 3638, where he served as co-director of the Le Havre branch from 2006 to 2011.
He currently heads SmartLogiLab, a joint research and innovation laboratory led by the company SOGET and the LITIS laboratory at the University of Le Havre Normandy, and supported by the French National Research Agency (ANR).
He is co-coordinator of the UNESCO UniTwin CS-DC (Complex Systems Digital Campus). He is a member of the Executive Committee of CSS-Fr, the French branch of the Complex Systems Society. He chairs the scientific interest group (GIS) Institute for Intelligent Logistics in the Seine Valley (ILI-VS).

- Director of LabCom SmartLogiLab (a joint research and innovation laboratory led by LITIS and the company SOGET).
- Co-coordinator of the international UniTwin CS-DC (Complex System Digital Campus) network, accredited by UNESCO since 2014 (UNESCO accreditation renewed in 2022 and 2026).
- Co-coordinator of the ISCN (Institute for Complex Systems in Normandy).
- Member of the Executive Committee of CSS-Fr, the French branch of the Complex Systems Society.
- President of the GIS Institute for Smart Logistics in the Seine Valley.
- Director of SFLog, the federative structure for research in logistics in Normandy, until 2025.
- Co-coordinator of the CTM (Continuum Terre Mer) training and research centre at Normandy University until 2024.
- Vice-President for Research, Innovation and Doctoral Studies at the University of Le Havre Normandy from 2012 to 2016.
- Co-Director of the LITIS laboratory for its Le Havre branch from 2006 to 2011.
